GoM approves Rs 5,000 cr Tech Fund for the SSI sector
A high-powered Group of Ministers for Small Scale Industries has approved setting up of the much-awaited Technology Upgradation Fund for SSIs with a corpus of Rs 5,000 crore.



Big players keep out of derivatives trading
Derivatives trading which was flagged with much fanfare earlier this year has failed to evoke much response from institutional investors, foreign investors and mutual funds.



Inflation crosses six per cent mark again
Annual rate of inflation once again crossed the six per cent level and stood at 6.12 per cent (p) during the week ended July 15 as against 5.92 per cent in the previous week.
