Driver tries to end life
An auto-rickshaw driver attempted to end his life at his house in the city area on Tuesday. According to the police, Anil Vaghela had bought a rickshaw last year and was incurring losses for the past six months. Vaghela tried to kill himself by consuming poison and was rushed to the SSG Hospital, where his condition is stable now.

House looted
A complaint was lodged on Tuesday by Chandrashekhar Ilango, a Gorwa resident, claiming that some unidentified persons had decamped with valuables worth Rs 11,000 after breaking into his house. His family had gone out when the incident occurred. Gorwa police have begun investigations.

Woman attacked
Navapura resident Kokilaben Godadia has lodged a complaint with the Raopura police stating that she was attacked by three men near her house on Tuesday. In her complaint, Kokilaben has named Kailash Godadia, Dharam Godadia and Ratilal Godadia as the accused. A family dispute is stated as the reason behind the attack.
