NAM to condemn US attack on Sudan in draft resolution
A strong resolution condemning the US attack on Sudan will be passed by NAM during the two-day summit which begins in Durban today. For India, the bright side is that there will be no similar resolution on the US aggression on terrorist camps in Afghanistan, with which India is directly concerned.

Pak sorties along the border violate norms
About 25% of the sorties by Pakistan military aircraft along the Indo-Pakistan International Border (IB) have violated international airspace norms. Army and IAF agencies monitoring movement of Pakistan aircraft reveal that till date this year, there have been about 60 reported incidents of breach of the `Air Agreement' signed by the Indian and Pakistani government a couple of years ago.

Iran flexes muscle on Afghan border
Iran is set to stage major military exercises on its tense border with Afghanistan beginning tomorrow, the Iranian state television said. The air and ground war games, covering an area of 600 square km, will test recently acquired modern weapons and equipment, it added.
