Few admissions in ordinary schools

CHANDIGARH, July 10: All seats in the medical, non-medical and commerce streams were filled at the Government Model Senior School, Sector 35 on the third day of admissions in City government schools, here today.

The cut off percentage in the commerce stream in the Sector 35 model school was 69.4 per cent. Very few cases of admission were reported in the rural and ordinary schools today. The cut off in the non-medical stream in Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 23 was 68 per cent. Twenty five seats are still left in the commerce stream in this school.

In Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 33, 50 seats in the non-medical stream have been filled. All seats in the non-medical and medical stream in Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 10 were filled.

Vacant seats were reported in every government school in the the arts stream.
